Choose the trip, the children and the nights. The list adjusts quantities and remembers what you have packed.
Packing for children is easier with a system: one pouch per child or per category, outfits planned by day, a spare set for the smallest ones and layers instead of bulky pieces. The list follows that logic. Quantities grow with the nights and shrink when you can do laundry on the way.
The travel day has its own bag: a change of clothes for each child and a top for the adult, nappies and wipes, medicines, snacks, water and a small comfort toy. Our guide to packing for children explains the method, and the story on long-haul flights covers bassinets, ears and jet lag.
In the European Union every child needs their own passport or identity card for travel abroad. Rules for liquids, baby food and medicines differ between airports and airlines, so check them shortly before you leave.
Yes, in this browser only. The ticks stay when you change the number of nights, so you can pack over several evenings. Use the button above the list to untick everything for the next trip.
Plan one outfit per day plus one spare per day for babies and toddlers, because milk, food and nappies make changes likely. For older children a spare every two or three days is usually enough when you can do laundry.
